Jack Frost visits...

Today was the coldest day in Denmark since I've been here temperature wise. It was probably around 28 degrees today, and there were actually small patches of ice on my walk to the train this morning. You could see your breath, but it didn't feel nearly as cold as other windy days we've had. The funny thing was that they trains had a major delay today because the little bit of dew/ice on the lines broke some of the trains down. I found a group of people from my kollegium when I got to the train this morning among throngs of people who had to get off the prior train due to large amounts of sparks overhead. We waited about 45 minutes for transportation to clean up the lines and another train to come so needless to say early morning classes were a bit bare as more and more people trickled in late. I thought it was quite entertaining all of it, and unlike many others who were in the group, didn't think it was that cold. I laughed at Emilio's comment this morning as we waited for the train this morning:

Me: "Well, it's not that bad, it could be cold."
Emilio: "I can see my breath when I breath through my nose, it's Cold!"

Hahaha, I enjoy seeing different people's definitions of 'cold.'

It's amazing how quickly things like Transport can be ground to a screeching halt by just a few inches of snow and cold weather. Glad everyone was able to still get to your classes.
It didn't get very cold when I was in Norway, but I was still glad to have my winter coat with me when I was there. It's great when you can laugh at others for the cold and say "I'm from the Midwest land of the cold air! :-D
